Well its that time! Mason’s finally getting his own room. I am not sure who will have a harder time adjusting, him or I?
For the last 9 months, bubba has either slept in his mini crib in our room or in our bed. Co-sleeping is not for everyone, and yes doctors are against it and a lot of other mommas judge because of it, but “Listen, Linda” this is what works for us. Ya dig?
If it were up to me, we had a bigger room and/or bed, he would totally stay in our room or sleep with us for a few more months, at least until he is one. But, he is getting too big for his mini crib, we only have a queen size bed, and he really does need to have his own space now.
To start, I wanted to find him crib that is not only stylish but a very safe place for bubba to sleep. Is it crazy that while I was hunting for cribs Delta Children reached out to me to review one of their products? That product happens to be exactly what I was searching for: I get to review one of their most popular item, Paloma 4-in-1 Convertible Crib.
We are so in love with this crib! After a couple test runs, I think bubba will too. I mean look at that smile, he is so happy to have a much bigger crib than his mini crib. His mini crib was half the size of this, and I am telling you after realizing that after my husband put this together, mom guilt kicked in that he was sleeping in such a small space.
This crib comes in another color, and is super affordable. 4-in-1 which means this crib will turn into a toddler bed, day bed and eventually a full size bed. My husband loved building this because the directions were so simple and it was super easy to assemble. You ever had to put together furniture from Ikea? Yep us too, and this was nothing like that. This took my husband maybe 30 minutes to build and 10 of those minutes were taking this giant, heavy box up the stairs and taking it out of packaging.
You can get this crib by itself or the option to get it with the Beautyrest 2-1 Infant and Toddler Mattress. And yes, I may sleep on the floor for a couple days because I may have a harder time adjusting than he will! Check out Delta Children for more amazing products.
As far as the rest of the room goes, I went for a fox in the forest kind of theme and we are still moving the current furniture out of his room, so as soon as it is all complete I will do a tour and share all the deets. Here is everything I got so far:
